In the present program of activities for interventions on the cultural heritage, now decidedly oriented for goods preservation, the photogrammetric survey is an irremissible tool for documentation, measure and documentation. Photogrammetry is a powerful means which allows you to have an extensive documentation of surfaces under examination and a measure of the valuable details like decorations, paintings, engravings, tarsias or mosaics: this constitutes the base for programmed restoring interventions on the single stony element or on the single small portions in the working area.

Density of details to be survey, the complexity of its geometry and the historical and artistic value of the object make the photogrammetric survey really irreplaceable as first approach to a preservation project and to an objective documentation of the state of the good first and after restoring intervention.

Nell’ambito del corrente approccio per gli interventi sui beni culturali, orientato decisamente verso la preservazione del bene, il rilievo fotogrammetrico risulta uno strumento di documentazione, misura e conoscenza irrinunciabile. Esso consente di operare interventi di restauro programmati sul singolo elemento lapideo o sulle singole minime porzioni costituenti le aree di intervento, potendo documentare in maniera estensiva le superfici interessate e potendo fornire rilievi di elementi di pregio con decorazioni, dipinti, incisioni, bassorilievi, tarsie o mosaici.

La densitŕ delle informazioni da rilevare, la complessitŕ della geometria dell’oggetto e il valore storico artistico del bene rendono lo strumento del rilievo fotogrammetrico insostituibile come primo approccio verso la progettazione dell’intervento di preservazione e verso una documentazione dello stato di fatto sia prima che dopo il restauro.
